Leaving Liverpool at 17 to join the Royal navy where he spent 5 years, Barry was first exposed to the idea of yachting while working briefly on HMY Britannia. Inspired by this experience, Barry left the Navy to join the yachting industry and see the world. Since then Barry has worked in yachting – cruising many diverse locations across the globe. In his free time Barry enjoys cycling, gym work and free diving, voluntary activities and travelling.
